Generally when defining the Information Architecture for the new (or repurposed) websites, we consider the following::

• User personas, scenario & journey definitions – who are your key users? What goals do they wish to accomplish on your website? How should they navigate through your site?
• Information architecture definition – how should your content be structured on the new website? What terminology should be refined and simplified to ensure user goals can be achieved as quickly as possible?
• Sitemap creation – We will define a new sitemap for your new website which incorporates the findings of the work undertaken with regards your User goals and information architecture.
• Content migration plan – We will define a plan which ensures the smooth migration of your content from your existing to the new platform.
