In this digital training case study, Eamonn was engaged by Facebook EMEA to design and develop a master training program in digital marketing for Facebook Ambassadors. The program piloted in France in 2016.
In House Training
The goal of this training exercise was to educate new recruits joining the Facebook team who were working with enterprise and small business clients regarding all things digital which would be needed for them to perform to the best of their abilities. Given the limited time available to him, Eamonn was tasked with preparing a programme which would introduce trainees to all the major elements involved in successful digital marketing campaigns and presenting this programme in an interactive and easy to understand manner.
The proposed solution consisted of the delivery of 12 interactive training workshops to the team of ambassadors and included strategic consultancy in terms of appropriate digital strategy for each of the ambassador’s clients, including SEO, SEA, Social Advertising, CRO, Analytics and Content Marketing. The holistic approach to digital marketing strategy and implementation for each of the clients provided a synergistic effect for the client. The programme was highly focussed on training the Facebook consultants on how to engage and upskill small-to-medium enterprises within the EMEA territory.
Eamonn developed and delivered the programme from the ground up. The program was highly successful and was recommissioned for the next year, 2018. The success of the program over the first two years of its introduction has led to its planned roll-out across France (13 departments) and a planned international roll-out in late 2019.
